Hosted by Katie Smith, Endow's Director of Development and joined by Katie Zulanas of Couple to Couple League, Leah Jacobson of Guiding Star Project, Father Luke Doyle of the Archdiocese of Kansas and The Religious Sisters of Mercy, Endow dives in Pope Saint Paul VI's encyclical and celebrates the 52nd anniversary of this beautiful and prophetic document. 

The key message of this document is understanding the inseparable dependency of authentic love and truth in human relationships. This is Pope Paul VI’s long-awaited and controversial encyclical explaining the beauty of marriage and the sanctity of human life within that bond. This study is important because it addresses many questions modern Catholics have battled in today's culture dealing with human love in relationships. It is an important topic to discuss and a great resource in understanding why the Church so strongly guides us towards honoring our dignity within intimate relationships and God's very hand in procreation.

The transmission of human life is a most serious role in which married people collaborate freely and responsibly with God the Creator. It has always been a source of great joy to them, even though it sometimes entails many difficulties and hardships. The Church cannot ignore these questions, for they concern matters intimately connected with the life and happiness of human beings.
